Emission Warranty The following warranty applies to the engines that have been certified to the emission regulation of the U.S. Envi- ronmental Protection Agency. Warranty coverage Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. warrants to the ultimate purchaser and each subsequent purchaser that the new nonroad engine, including all parts of its emission-control system, meets two conditions:(1) It is designed, built, and equipped so it conforms at the time of sale to the ultimate purchaser with applicable regulation of the U.S. Environ- mental Protection Agency. If the vehicle in which the engine is installed is registered in the state of California, a sep- arate California emission regulation also applies.(2) It is free from defects in materials and workmanship that may keep it from meeting these requirements.
